The narrator has done such a wonderful job! The story itself, while sweet, was rather predictable, but the way it was read made me enjoy it thoroughly.

An imaginative view on LGBTQ and difference, if a bit too on the nose

A sweet, sweet fairytale, I was smiling most of the time for no apparent reason. Not at all a new idea but beautifully told.

I can't even begin to explain how great the narrator was. 60% of this book's charm came from the great narrator. I've never been so impressed from something like that before. The book is good. Nice world building, great character growth, the romance is far away in the background, but that's not problem at all when you have characters like the sweet, adorable, little Chauncey. I never liked tenticle creatures, but I'll make exception for that innocent, charming little fellow. Again, the narrator is the main reason for making the character so cute. Every character was well explained and they all had the spotlight. The romantic relationship was happening behind the curtains, but it also had its sweet moments. I absolutely recommend the book. I'm happy I gave it a chance, because I'm not normally TJ Klune fan. I've started a lot of his other books and I didn't finish them, but this one.... it deserves every minute. What a treat is this book... 😊😊😚

I loved this book from the first chapter to the last. I wish the world would have more people like Arthur and Linus. Magical story.

I love this book so much, Chauncey melts my heart Every time he spoke. And the reading was perfect. For sure would want to give this book someday to my child, I think if beautiful.
